We are very proud to announce our very first event. Cause for a Dance Party will be hosting a party in honor of Miriam's Kitchen (http://www.miriamskitchen.org) at the Darlington House in Dupont Circle. The party will be located in their Library room on the second floor.
Their mission is to provide individualized services that address the causes and consequences of homelessness in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, both directly and through facilitating connections in Washington, DC. They provide free, high-quality meals and support services to the homeless in our Nation's Capital.
Details:
-Drink specials to help get people on the dancefloor
-DJ Random is spinning everything from Top 40 to 80's to funk to soul to yacht rock to stuff so random your head will explode. Just really fun music.
-Did I mention there's a disco ball?!
-$5 minimum donation at the door
-All door proceeds go directly to Miriam's Kitchen

Extremely Metro Accessible: The Darlington House is located about 50 feet from the Dupont Circle North Exit (Red Line)

Cause for a Dance Party was founded to combine nightlife and charitable giving. We plan to host several parties per year at venues across the Washington DC area. The goal is to have a great time and raise money and awareness about various charities in the process.
